We have a nice challenge in our small discord community which is called “every week a concept”, where we have to create a concept art to a certain topic no matter the medium. It's not about creating a finished and polished project and more about exploring ideas and tools. Two weeks ago “malfunction” was the topic and this was my contribution.
Besides testing out a quick character workflow inside zbrush with the human zbuilder plugin, it's basically my second attempt with a "paint over" at all. It's pretty rough but looks quite interesting.
