Il progetto grafico nasce su commissione dell'associazione Interact Club di Catania per pubblicizzare un convegno antimafia e richiamare all'attenzione un pubblico più giovane. L'illustrazione al centro del manifesto vuole esprimere quale sia il compito dei giovani e degli adolescenti di oggi: opporsi in tutti i modi alla mafia (i tentacoli della piovra, alle radici della società) evitando così il contagio della piaga e preservando così le future generazioni (l'albero e la luce che lo avvolge).

The graphic project was commissioned by the Interact Club of Catania to advertise an anti-mafia conference and draw attention to a younger audience. The illustration at the center of the poster wants to express what the task of today's young people and adolescents is: to oppose the mafia in every way (the tentacles of the octopus, to the roots of society) thus avoiding the contagion of the plague and thus preserving the future generations (the tree and the light that surrounds it).
