Engaging brand identity design for a Danish videography company.​​​​​​​
Video Alliance is a visual communications business based in Denmark. The company is owned by Samuel Meijer, a videographer who has worked in advertising and television production for over 10 years. As Samuel expanded his previous business ‘One Man Video Army’ into a growing team, I was commissioned to design the new brand. The new brand identity needed a timeless logo design and a pure, professional colour scheme that would encapsulate the company’s character and its service offering.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
Three initial logo concepts were presented to Video Alliance. Taking the client’s specifications into account, it was decided that each concept should incorporate the letters ‘V’ and ‘A’ and a subtle nod to the idea of an ‘alliance’. Each of the three concepts below demonstrate how this was put into practice. Various stylistic elements from all three of the initial logo concepts were then incorporated into the final, refined logo design. ​​​​​​​
Each colour was chosen carefully in order to add personality and instant recognisability to the brand. The contrasting blue and red tones give this colour palette a distinctive and vibrant appearance. Indigo Dye was chosen as the primary colour due to its flexibility as well as its calm, balanced feel.​​​​​​​​​​​​​​
In the final stage of the brand design process, the refined logo design and accompanying brand guidelines were presented to the videography company. The finalised brand identity elements were then fine-tuned and delivered to Video Alliance in all of the necessary formats for print and digital use. The result was a contemporary and professional new identity for the business.​​​​​​​
