DESCRIPTION: This is a project initially inspired by several LGBTQ-related tv shows I’ve recently watched. They touch on different issues faced by people in the LGBTQ+ community and how they are invalidated by either the mainstream culture or themselves. Expanding on these topics, I thought about other reasons that may make people feel invalid. To break this toxic culture, we need to first validate ourselves and then do the same for others. This will contribute to a more caring and sensitive society.
