Specialized Bicycles had three professional teams in the 2013 Tour De France. This eBook, available only on iTunes, gives the viewer a behind the scenes look at 2013 race. Each year at the race, thousands of photos are taken and only a select few end up on the consumer site and even fewer in ads. It seemed crazy that some of this amazing work might never see the light of day. I pitched the concept of creating a digital book in-house to showcase some of this photopgraphy.

This was created in collaboration with Specialized’s amazing freelance photographers and wouldn’t have been possible without them: BrakeThrough Media, Graham Watson, TDWSport and Yuzuru Sunada. The design was minimal and simply tried to bring the photography to the foreground as much as possible.
