ABOUT THE PROJECT
The target users of Wyze thermostat are those North American families who are still using traditional thermostats, so from the beginning, we wanted to create a simple and easy-to-use smart thermostat to bring them a new temperature control experience!
At present, the product has been launched on the US wyze official website.
DESIGN PRINCIPLE
The product design follows the concept of functionalism, focuses on the core function of the product, and tries to abandon any decorative elements on the premise of meeting the functional requirements of the product to create a simple and plain product form, calm and light product experience.
The product uses basic geometry as the design prototype, and the circle shape as the basic element of the design,to try to shape the symbolic characteristics of the product.
The product uses a knob to emphasize the user's control of the product，at the same time, the boundary between the control area and the display area is vigorously blurred through the adjustment of CMF to shape the integrity of the product.
In addition, the back of the product adopts a stepped design feature, which not only effectively hides the air convection grid, ensures the integrity of the product, but also makes the overall appearance of the product thinner and lighter.
The plain color of the whole product and the gradual convex form of the wall cover to make the product and the installation environment have better coordination.
