New Zealand Valley's
I have spent the last 5 years consciously trying very hard to find the unusual, out of context and overlooked landscapes.
Especially coming from a place like New Zealand, where I am surrounded by pretty landscapes. And every photo that comes out of this country is another beautiful and pretty landscape.
Don't get me wrong, I often stand in awe at a lot of what this land displays. And it does constantly inspire me.
Every day it feels different, usually because the weather creates it's personalities.
I have always struggled to find images where I have felt I have done that landscape justice. Scale can be a very hard thing to capture.
This series of images is a departure from my usual work and look.
I was keen to capture some of the majesty of the land and this time also add some colour.
