The flow of information has reached unprecedented speed and dimensions. The clutter of content constantly surrounding us often becomes confusing. Thus skills such as information filtering and critical thinking become increasingly important. And these skills are based on two fundaments – vision and thinking.
Texts that are taken out of context, fake news, and fictional memories – perhaps all of this is based on poor eyesight? We just see it very ineptly. Therefore, as a Latvian saying suggests – let's just all take our eyes in hands!
Paņem acis rokās is a continuation of project Chiasm of Perception, researching and focusing on the interaction between light, vision and perception.
