Monads, in philosophy, is synonymous with origin, intended as a sort of “metaphysical atom”: that which is at the beginning of concepts, ideas, or is part of it.
I pictured this monads as entities that fluctuate alone in their own universe. Each with its aspect, behavior, sound and soundscape.
Some look like obsolete mechanisms, others as an abstraction of logical operations, others as alien beings/ organisms.
No-oN is an audiovisual artist from Pordenone, Italy.
Active from 2015, he since released two albums and two EP’s for his local Ghost.City Collective and an EP for the Milan-based Heel.Zone.
His work ranges from club-oriented tracks to eerie, introspective elecroacoustic pieces, aiming to explore the logics of the audiovisual media.
