Sailplane & Gliding magazine
These are a series of visuals created for the redesign of an existing specialist consumer magazine. The client wanted to reach a younger audience whilst not alienating their loyal, mostly older, readership.
I overhauled almost everything from the original magazine, including the masthead, fonts and page sections. I then presented the client with a set of visual style guidelines and example feature spreads (which you see below) as well as Indesign templates from which they could design the magazine on their own.

- the back section of the magazine is dedicated to club news. I designed it to be printed on an uncoated matte paper stock separating it from the rest of the magazine and giving it a fanzine feel -
