While working for Causecast, I helped drive the user experience for AARP's volunteer service portal, Create The Good. I worked on wireframes, iteration after iteration, to help meet AARP's needs. There were two wireframes to work on: one for the non-logged-in state, and one for the logged-in state. The former needed to address a way to capture the attention of AARP visitors, while the latter needed to inspire members to sign up for opportunities.
These wireframes reflect those decisions; the screenshots underneath reflect the current design implemented based on my wireframes.
This wireframe accounts for non-logged-in members. The goal: to get potential users to create an account and log in for better content. We have a little blurb about what Create The Good is, some quick 5-minute ideas, and some reasons to join.
