Pronea - Secondary school of 22nd century

Pronea is a secondary school whose vision is to transform the Upper Nitra region into a place where people will want to work and live through quality education and upbringing of young people. It is created with the belief that Pronea concept will have a positive impact far beyond the borders of this region.

The basic pillars of Pronea educational process are largely identified with the so-called Baťa's educational concept. According to Baťa, the school was to be not only a preparation for life, but also life itself. This is the so-called pragmatic pedagogy, which emphasizes, among other things, the creativity and initiative of the student. Equally important is the moral code that Baťa enforced.

The original logo is composed of lines that have the same thickness as the gap between them. They thus form a triple, curved line, which refers to the original pillars of Pronea - Academy, Campus and Hub.

The font used is Livvic, which the author Jackues Le Bailly describes as open, friendly, corporate, but still fresh and personal. Its modern look and versatility make it easy to use on multiple platforms.

The author of the original logo, font selection and colors of the first pillars is Andrej Kmeťo from Ideas & Innovations.

The definition of keywords for identity creation and logo refresh were a natural result of joint discussions about the school, plans for the future and the overall vision of the brand.

During these interviews, some moments were heard repeatedly - a return to history to the legacy of Tomáš Baťa (Partizánske = Baťovany) created, Pronea being about people and for people - people at the center of events, we want to help a new generation of young people get an education that will allow them to change not only the region of Horná Nitra, but gradually the whole of Slovakia.

Creative process

The goal was not to completely change the logo, but to express the growth that Pronea went through and to open it more to the world. Therefore, it embodies a combination of several meanings:

HEART - at the heart is respect for what Pronea has already achieved in its short existence - gaining support from the state, people and financial assistance
IMPRINT - embodies: EDUCATION - the impact on the new generation - on the knowledge, experience and character Pronea will imprint on young people; INNOVATION - the changes thanks to which will young people leave their mark in the world and TECHNOLOGIES - the future of progress is in the connection of human mind and technology.
SIGNAL - a signal of change brought by a new generation that will exit the gates of the school and campus after their studies
GROWTH - personal, character and educational growth that students go through, as well as the growth of the region

Pronea stands on five pillars

The Pronea project fulfills its mission and vision through five pillars that interconnect and work together. The development of the personality and good character of the student is one of the main goals of the project.

ACADEMY - A secondary vocational school that, with its departments and innovative methods, prepares young people for full employment in the rapidly changing world of the 21st century
CAMPUS - High school town with a dormitory offers a space in which students have the opportunity for social life, personal development, volunteer work and social involvement
HUB - An innovation center that encourages students to connect their knowledge with real life and thus fully develop their knowledge, talent and creativity in cooperation with companies in a real environment
SMART SPORT - Sports academy with various sports fields helps students to a balanced lifestyle, which has a positive impact not only on students' health, but also on their brain activity or psyche.
SMART MUSIC - Music Academy completes the possibility of all-round development of students by ensuring their artistic expression and emotional expression through art
