Lightning In A Bottle

In a 2019 interview, it was revealed that Lana Del Rey had recorded an unreleased album with Miles Kane, Zach Dawes, Loren Humphrey and Tyler Parkford of The Last Shadow Puppets. I designed conceptual vinyl packaging for a fictionalised version of the album that would also feature The Last Shadow Puppets member Alex Turner in response to a lyric from the sole leaked track from the project, Thunder, “You roll like thunder, you tryna catch that wind, that lightning in a bottle”.
I created a composite image from two photos creating a dynamic scene between the trio which echoes the idea of a “lightning in a bottle” electric kind of collaboration and designed the back cover in Illustrator.
