When I received the materials of the project, I immediately remembered Alex van Varmerdam's film «Borgman». Once, I liked how it was filmed. I really like the way the architecture is presented in the film and with what methods, the house is woven into the plot. So, I decided to make a series of images based on the movie. Of course, without the oppressive cold feeling of anxiety and despair that accompany a film about the unpretentious existential suffering of wealthy white people.

One of the main conditions of the technical assignment was to disperse the raging vegetation with the active presence of lilacs, while maintaining a general sense of spontaneity and wildness. Grasses and bushes in large quantities perfectly complemented the original idea of presentation, adding a desired degree of voyeurism to the views.

As a result, I hope there is a feeling in the images that everything is about to begin. Everything is ready for you. And for what exactly — everyone has the right to come up with and make it himself.
