I like to redesign my portfolio website every two years and it was time for a change.
The previous version was minimal and brutalist in style, but didn't really represent what I wanted to convey any longer, so I spent some time creating mood boards and trying out different font families. The font choices were important because I wanted a better representation of my love for minimalism and the Swiss/International typographic style.

I wanted to the typography and page structure to be engaging and interactive, so the site has a number of micro-interactions and a few hidden "Easter Eggs."
I know the basic design pattern is to include a biography or personal information on the home page of a portfolio site, but I prefer to have a dedicated about page and have the home page tell a story about my creative work and process instead.
I am a multidisciplinary designer, so my portfolio is intended to showcase each facet, rather than being dedicated to one. I added several sections to introduce that idea before showing the actual work, which was divided into independent sections.
Finally, I wanted to keep a journal of my design and development interests and personal projects, such as music production, that fall outside the scope of my career.
