Draftfcb 'What Matters To Us' Value Book
Draftfcb Cape Town was tasked with creating a corporate mission statement for the South African network. The book was distributed to every staff member, as well as new recruits joining the agency. The book, titled ‘What matters to us’ gets to the heart of the agency’s internal pillars of ‘Ideas that matter’ and ‘Building South Africa’s favourite brands’.
“Courage. Aiming for greatness can be scary. There is a very simple hierarchy here. The best idea is in charge. It is never about “my idea” but rather “our idea”. Of course, we do have a reporting structure and it’s important that we follow it. But it’s a support mechanism, not an ego mechanism. We don’t care if you have been here for five minutes of five years, you can still come up with a great idea.”
