Every City has its own Logos, Blazons and more. It is very chaotic and visually not pleasing. The connection between the Cities is not visualized in any way, even if it is a huge aspect for most residents. Every City has much to see and tell. The Region of Recklinghausen itself has a Logo and Blazon as well. It is hard to differentiate who is communicating. City, Cities, parts of Cities, Region and other...
Why:
... this is why I decided to create a new and fitting Identity System for the Region and its Cities.
The Cityregion Recklinghausen is with ten Cities the biggest in Germany. I lived here for 22 years and know mostly every part of these Cities. Since serveral years I see the Cities and Designs evolve and change. For a long time now I want to change its overall Design to visualize the connection of the ten cities. They all belong together and have a strong connection in the community of Recklinghausen. Sadly this is not expressd in language, nor in design. Thaty why I took my time to create a fitting Identity System for the Cities.
