This flip book was created using an accordion fold, creating a cyclical story telling experience using only typographic elements. To generate texture and depth for this project, I printed, altered, and scanned in elements, such as the straw on the seventh and eighth pages, as well as the "house of the enemy" effect on the second and third pages. Color and texture was also created using repeated forms and layering of elements with various opacities. The way that the story unfolds gives the reader the experience of working their way through the booklet two pages at a time, and is designed as such. The cover as well as the "Peril" pages are the only stand-alone pages, because of the way that the booklet moves and folds, and were designed as stand-alone pages while still offering connection and transition to subsequent pages through style and span.
