The Winter Conference is an annual conference organized by The Geological Society of Norway. NGF is an apolitical, interdisciplinary and scientific association founded in 1905. The Winter Conference is an arena for all the geoscience disciplines, with a goal to facilitate knowledge sharing, networking, inspiration and learning.
The poster consists of an illustration that reflects this year's main theme "Geoscience in a changing world". Geoscience has evolved from the time when men in suits were out with pickaxes, notebooks and pencils. To today's geologists who uses drones, computer equipment and where they dig less but analyze more through images taken through the ground to see what the topography is like.
