Ladri di Dati is a report inquiry about hospital data theft from organizations led by governments. Winner of the 2020 edition of Premio Morrione, a Prize for investigative journalism funds the implementation of investigative projects by authors under 30.

Through Advanced Persistent Threats the hacker identifies and studies the target and a way to enter the company's network. Through emails or suspicious links they creates a connection with the hacker's server. It will now be able to access the data, spreading through the system to steal further information that can lead to competitive advantages not only between competitors but between entire nations, staying in the shadows for months and years.
