DESCRIPTION
Akka Outdoor needed a packaging design for its new water bottle. They knew it wanted to use a 4-color print before they ordered.
The company presents itself to younger consumers. The packaging design specifications also included that the bottles needed to work for both urban and outdoorsy consumers.
Akka Outdoor wanted something that spoke to the ruggedness of the stainless-steel double wall insulated water bottle. Since the company is eco-friendly, they wanted to use kraft paper and limited ink to facilitate the packaging breaking down after use.
CREATIVE SOLUTION
Stan Agency focused on the rugged and outdoor aspects. We figured out that mountains spoke to this most while still not excluding the urban demographic groups. Then we brainstormed ideas on what we wanted the final design to look like.
The completed kraft paper packaging designs featured a mountain scene, one of four solid colors, and serif labeling. We created a continuous mountain scene that could only be fully viewed when all the designs were next to each other. We believe the gold embossing used int eh labeling tied the whole packaging design together.
