An Old picture of mine. The very First UAV (Unmanned Aerial Vehicle) in the world designed in Canada. Very quiet and used for Surveillance along the coast for enemy combatants day and night time as a precaution before Navy Ship Docking. As Project Design Verification Lead (Design Checker & Design Approval Signatory) on the CL227 Sentinel Landing Platform Project and Canadian Marine Rapid Securing Device Project (Helicopter Landing Rapid Securing) in support of the New Canadian Patrol Frigate Program. I was responsible for the Design Verification and Sign-off of the mechanical hardware installations below decks for the Canadian Marine Securing Device. I checked the design of the Motor Assembly Installation, Local Control Unit Installation, Operator Control Console, Hydraulic Power Unit, Rapid Securing Device, Helicopter Pilot Cues Unit, Wire Routing and Cable Harnesses resulting in a successful prototype.
For the CL227 Sentinel Platform Project I checked the Landing Platform and Securing Prototype. Both programs I checked for form, fit and functional requirements in accordance to Canadian Air force Spec CSD-01-4000-001-SG-000, ANSI 14.5M and MIL-STD 1000-Level 3 .

As a Senior Designer on the CF5 Avionic Update Program for the CF5 Trainer Jet I was responsible for the Design and Installation of Modern Avionics and Weapon Delivery Systems. I designed the Installation of the Ballistic Selector Unit, Air Data Computer, Video Monitor Unit, IFF Unit (Identification Friend or Foe Unit), Static and Pitot Lines Layout. Also worked on Ground Stud structure and Bulkhead layout for Cable Harness Routing.
The CF5 Avionic Update Program had a single seater along with a dual seat trainer involved in this Program. I also checked the Installation and structural details for the Heads Up Display Unit.
I worked through my own company on a contract to Simplex Time Equipment on the Canadian Patrol Frigate Program as the Lead Designer for the Master Clock System installed on the Frigate. As Project Lead I hired 3 designers and worked from my office in Toronto. The Master Clock System was Designed and Certified within the scheduled Program Milestone set by Simplex. I signed off the drawing packages for engineering.
I also worked on the Canadian Patrol Frigate Program initially as a Senior Designer and then moved to Engineering Design Check Department on the ANSAR 8 Program. Worked as a Senior Designer on the Cryogenic Cooling System below decks then Lead Design Checker of the Engineering Design Dept thereafter.
