The Naked Navel
Business Creation
Imagine yourself sitting comfortably, counting those little holes in the ceiling that are in every classroom you've ever been in. Your professor begins tossing random items to each student. You wonder what he's up to, but you're nervous to find out. As he walks the classroom, you find out that you need to create a business using your new object as the central theme. This all happened to me. And I got an orange.

Being that I love everything about an orange, I took a lot of time to conjure up all that I would like to do with this project. I decided upon a smoothie store. Who doesn't love smoothies? Saying you hate smoothies is like saying you hate puppies. Or music. Or the Beatles. If you dislike any of these things, we cannot be friends, and you should have a long, hard look at yourself.

Back to the point: I wanted the store to be themed around healthy living, being that is the "cool" thing to be. But who has really been that attracted to organic products unless they're already delicious? Chipotle got the market of people who do and do not care about that stuff by just being delicious and clever with their marketing. I chose to do the same, from the name to the menu.

The menu consists of smoothies, juices, and lighter snacks. The snacks are all named after famous books, the juices after famous musicians, and the smoothies after movie themes. These were all carefully thought out and executed. For instance, there is a smoothie called "The Official Red Rider BB Gun." This smoothie has cherries, strawberries, and apples. Get it? No? Well, who asked you anyway?!

Anyway, I created the name, logo, and menu items. I designed the menu and the gift cards.
