Row housing for first-time home buyers in Wormer, the Netherlands. Two basic plan layouts were offered and mirrored in plan, providing variety in the development. All possible future extensions and additions were designed upfront in order to protect the overall aesthetic, while providing buyers with upfront clarity and future options while minimizing their initial investment.  

The area is known for its traditional houses with dark green painted wood tongue and groove cladding. Rather than restrict buyers to specific paint colors in this development, we proposed that any shade of green would be acceptable for window frames and doors. A bit of individuality, while retaining the overall harmony.
