The Department of Art & Design at Central Michigan University is a community for students, scholars, and local artists. Their mission is to offer student-centered programs that develop the ability to think, make, and engage with the world. The goal of this project was to take the creativity of the students and staff, and have that reflect the department's website to hopefully inspire new students who wish to become part of the art & design community.

The Department of Art & Design follows the same fonts and colors as Central Michigan University, but uses the font and layouts in a unique and interesting manner.

The school takes pride into welcome creativity all all mediums and background, so the goal of the homepage was to provide a modern and design-centered overview of the school with a program directory, mission statement, news sections, and contact information.

As a fellow CMU alumni, I am forever grateful of the lessons and knowledge I has acquired during my studies. This project was part of my early class assignments. My challenge for myself was to revisit this assignment and instead of thinking like an alumni, I had to think of a future college student who wants to be inspired by art and wants to go to a school that can give me the tools and knowledge needed to be a great artist.
