OVERVIEW
Bumi is a personal care brand that believes in making you and the world smile. Launching its self-standing bamboo toothbrushes, the brand advocates for less plastic use for a healthier self and a healthier world. And while health and sustainability could be concepts that intimidate some because of many different viewpoints, Bumi allows some sense of approachability by delivering guilt-free care starting in small ways.

True to its promise of ease in all aspects—from its messaging to its product usage, Bumi is presented in simple yet bold visuals with a brand system that could expand along with its products. Its logo, set in a chunky neo-grotesque font, is stylized in small caps, showing a balance of confidence and a welcoming vibe.
The brand’s array of bright and lively colors are utilised in the packaging of their brushes. A subtle mix of yellow and green leads the palette as the brand’s main color while neutrals such as black and white tone it down, counting up to its simplicity and straightforwardness. Additional colors are used to minimally yet strategically differentiate products, that fundamentally make each pack livelier.
The main box is designed to allow people to interact and play with it, integrating fun even in the smallest aspects. No matter which side is shown, it’s undeniably Bumi. The shape allows it to be stacked together like building blocks, or be conveniently packed together in three’s or even in a group of six — perfect for a family.
To help convey what it does in a playful manner as well as to build the narrative of the brand, illustrations are also designed to be part of the identity. Its simplistic yet imaginative style is an homage to the child in all of us; reminding us to always have fun especially when you do good.
