Deiliverk - Project from the Icelandic School of Arts. I was instructed to design a lamp, and build it up to be presentable as a product that could go to market tomorrow.

I decided to take my inspiration from George Carwardine's Anglepoise lamp. I thought it should be a pleasure to use, so I created it to roll. The curve of the wood and the rollers work together to allow the lamp to shine in any direction without the base moving.

This means the lamp can be focussed on different items without need for moving it, similar to the anglepoise lamp, but using a different method of movement, and by reducing its size.

For this piece of work I was awarded a 95% grade. The technical drawings above show how it all pieces together.
