This was originally for a client, till he canceled the work due to not liking my specific style of work which is fine, i think the panda is cute! It comes with a very simplified landscape scene.
This is the finalised linework for the panda illustration, there were many revisions, but this one was definatly the best.
Added some colours, using some panda photographs for colour references.
Final version of the panda, complete with shading & lighting, and in full colour.
This is the landscape scene, i was aiming for simplicity and feel i achieved this by using only shapes and gradients.
I then went on to add some more bushes to break up the scene a little bit, using different variations of green gradients.
And finally, add the finishing touches, the clouds, sun rays and the little fruits. I quite like the outcome of the illustration, it has a summery feel to it.
