Storm Music Festival, Coorg '13

At Kreeda Design, we worked on a 400 ft x 12 ft mural for a three-day music festival in Coorg called the  ‘Storm Fest’. The theme for the mural was woven around music, music legends, narrative sequences with music, peace and love as its central theme. The final outcome was displayed at the venue for the Storm Fest in Coorg.
Prep drawings before the murals
I tried to inject some thoughts relating music to science and mysticism
The length was divided into square sections and painted in sequence. It was created in complete freehand, with no projections or tile enlargements, drawn directly by hand/pencil onto kora cloth and painted with emulsion paint in the studios large living room.

The work was completed in three weeks, in time for the music fest.

Each team member designed / directed 10-15 murals (~15ft x 12ft / mural) each while the others assited in filling in colours etc. The murals displayed here were designed / directed by me.
The murals put up in the festival at Coorg

I also made this illustration that was screen printed on the hoodies we wore to the festival.
