Surface Techniques has a combination of Batik, Tie and Dye and Block Printing. 

In the Batik swatches, wax is poured and cracked and then dyed. 

In tie and dye, basic techniques are used alone or combined and then dyed. 

For the block printing, the blocks are self-made. To make the blocks, erasers were carved and then used as blocks for printing on fabric.
