What goes better with crafting than Pinterest? Before Pinterest developed their ad capabilities, Craftsy (now Bluprint) wanted to experiment with an awareness campaign to capture interest amongst its core audience. Each person on the team took a few categories to create pins for using any medium we wanted — after all, the more creative we got, the more interest we might generate. While we didn't have tracking to get exact numbers, we did see a spike in new registers on the site and the campaign was considered a success and Pinterest began to be included as a generative platform in our social media campaigns.
