a book project commemorating Victims of the first Nazi death camp in Chełmno-on-Ner
My practical diploma project is a book which tells the story of the Chełmno-on-Ner death camp. It is also dedicated to the Łódź ghetto and my hometown Grabów. Most of the materials contain texts describing the history, but first of all, eyewitness account of the extermination. The publication is composed of many archival data and pictures taken by myself of places related to the Jewish community. The testament of the last prisoners of the Chełmno-on-Ner death camp was a great motivation for the creation of this book.
