Grænavatn Volcano Lake │ Iceland Photo Gallery

Grænavatn (Greenlake) lake is a volcanic crater that got its name from its unusual green color. The color is due to a high level of sulphur in the water and its depth. Seltún Geothermal area │ Iceland Photo Gallery

Seltún is one of the natural wonders that we Icelanders have right at our doorsteps. Seltún is a large and beautiful hot spring area where you can see both ordinary hot springs and mud pool. This is one of the areas on Reykjanes that I never get tired of photographing because it seems like it is constantly changing cause of the light is e.g. never the same from day to day, so it's always new to me. Wow it’s good to live in Iceland with all these treasures around us.

Stór-Sandvík Lake │ Iceland Photo Gallery

Nature is absolutely amazing, No matter how many times I come to the same place to photograph, there is always something new. With a new perspective comes a new masterpiece. How Mother Earth mixes colors is something that is so coordinated and precise that it is a delight. I went out the other day with my Drone to take pictures directly down at the subject and I will show the results in the coming days.
