Gas Hob and Kettle

With the increased need to reduce pressure on power grids, gas hobs have become a popular solve. Yet they're perception as quite risky, clunky, analog appliances remains a hard one to dissolve in a time when digital integration and increased ease of use are the order of the day.

This built-in gas hob and kettle concept with digital integration and fail-safes aims to dissolve negative associations with gas hobs
Seamless styling to fit into minimalist contemporary kitchens
Combustion would be controlled with a seamless digital touch-screen. The unit would support bluetooth and wifi connectivity and would include safety features such as timed kill-switches, as well as timers and mobile remote control
The integrated kettle would have it's own dedicated locating plate. When removed from the plate the gas burner would terminate and when placed on the plate the burner would ignite and boil the water. A thermostat and water-level sensor in the kettle unit would allow for automatic termination once the water starts boiling.

The kettle would also support preset timed boiling and remote control
