Inspired by the dynamism of moire patterns the Fluir light was an experiment with low volume manufacturing using CNC milling techniques.
Much of my initial ideation emphasized interlocking forms.
After several unsuccessful experiments with notched panels I focused in on structural frame meshes.
The light is composed of only 5 unique parts and can be assembled without instruction.
The Notched construction of this light inspired further research in my Głowa lamp
