French boxing or “Savate boxe française” is a fist-foot combat sport that appeared in the middle of the 19th century in France. Through our branding, we wanted to highlight this duality between a heritage of a noble and historic sport that is typically French and a modernity linked to its constantly evolving practice.
This duality is found through two typography, an art direction borrowing the codes of the beginning of the century. Montpellier Savate Gym is chaired by a great champion named Stéphane Gougne for whom we have created a visual identity based on the duality and the origins of this sport.A real “Gentleman's” sport that we have translated into an “impactful” design, both in substance and in form. “En garde! "

La boxe française ou « Savate boxe française » est un sport de combat pieds poings qui est apparu au milieu du XIXe siècle en France.
À travers notre branding nous avons voulu mettre en lumière cette dualité entre un héritage d’un sport noble et historique typiquement Français et une modernité
lié à sa pratique en constante évolution.
Cette dualité se retrouve à travers deux typographies, une direction artistique empruntant les codes des affiches du début du siècle. Montpellier Savate Gym est présidé par un grand champion nommé Stéphane Gougne pour qui nous avons créée une identité visuelle en se basant sur la dualité et les origines de ce sport.
Un véritable sport de « Gentleman » que nous avons traduit par un design « impactant » aussi bien dans son fond que dans sa forme.
