Donkey Eyes
This is one of my favorite sculpture which is a portray of myself too.
I made it with ceramic and colored by SAGGAR; a technique of glazing. I named it " Donkey eyes "because when I was in Turkey, a man called me by this name and he said, in Turkey when someone has beautiful eyes and those catch others' eyes, we called, those attractive eyes, Donkey eyes". That was a kind of description for deceptive eyes and look. We also have an idiom in Persian; we said "your eyes have a dog which means your look and eyes are deceptive". So it seems I have many animals in my eyes!
