For this project I used Adobe Illustrator to transform a photograph to a digital creation. The image to the left above is the photo I was given, which included details of grass and mountains off in the distance, also including wispy clouds in the sky. I arrived at my finished product (top right photograph) by using the pen tool and color selector/gradient tool, in order to get the most accurate representation of the original image. I then took my finished product a few steps further by bringing it over to Adobe Photoshop to apply some filters. The first filter I applied was the black and white filter (bottom left photograph), which makes the elephant stand out due to its dark colors against the lightness of the background. The second filter I applied was craquelure (bottom middle photograph), which added the texture to elephant that it presented in the original photograph. I then applied all of these photos on to mockups after they were completed to give them a finished look.
