Background Illustration
During this school assignment we had to create a background illustration based on a movie, book or song. We had to design an illustration of a place mentioned but never shown.
it was also very important to show depth in the final illustration.

Process
First I made a blockout of the scene I wanted to draw.
Then I made a sketch over the blockout
After the sketch was done, I made the lineart. I already tried to get some depth in the illustration by using different line Thicknesses.
Afterwards I put in the values of the background.

Later I added some extra geen overlay to give the illustration a bit of 'creepy' feel.
