IOW 300.3: Interpretive Thinking: Corporate Identity
Project Brief
An unlikely pairing between a disparate historical theme and product forms the platform for this identity exploration and development. This is followed by further interpretive thinking to conceptualise and visualise an innovative packaging concept. A style guide serves to outline the design parameters and establish the identity set.

Design Strategy
Interpreting the given commodity, which is Boiled Sweets inspired by the Renaissance, the following brand is brought to life. The visual language conveys the ambiguous interplay between the various shapes of sweets and elements takes from the Renaissance period. The visual treatment is inspired by the art works created at the time, including the Mona Lisa, The Birth of Venus and the Creation of Adam. The colour palette conveys the traditional colours of candy as well as the royal colours from the Renaissance.
