This project was a semester final for my 3D design class at George Mason University. We had to research the term "change" and create a piece based on our research over the semester. 

 

I decided to focus on the change that was happening in Syria. The revolution that is happening. The atrocities that are being used on the people of that country are astonishing so I wanted to create a piece that really represented them and their mission.

 

The goal was to create a piece using the "rubble" of the Syrian cities that have been destroyed to form a makeshift figure that can only be seen cleary when a light is shone on it. This represents them overcoming all of the terrible things that are happening there. The Syrians will rise up and they will achieve their goal one day. It's a shame it has taken so much death already and we can only hope the conflict ends soon.
