I chose to re create "Eleven A.M. , by Edward Hopper" through a modern fashion, capturing a students perspective during a global pandemic. Researching the background of "Eleven A.M." , the "patience" became a recurring theme in his work.
Being a student during a global pandemic, our patience gets to us. We wonder when this will end, when school starts, when things will get back to normal. In the image I composed the theme by looking down on my watch as it ticks, watching the seconds go by whilst I take a break from completing a project on the background whilst the soft, comforting sunlight shines through the curtained window, edging the person to go outside, toying with our patience.
