Defy Convention – Brand Design for VMworld 2013
With more than 20,000 attendees, VMworld is the largest global IT event — bringing together professionals from around the world to share ideas, strengthen relationships, and master VMware products.
Larsen created the powerful 2013 event theme Defy Convention to engage attendees and challenge the way they think about and manage IT. To support the verbal theme and VMworld’s unconventional approach, Larsen created visual guidelines, illustrations, and digital assets inspired by street art. These elements were used to design key event communications including the VMworld website, XXL banners, digital signage, name badges, t-shirts, and more.
