When I met Maude for the first time, I knew she was a dancer even before talking to her. Somehow she seemed to fly when she walked and she moved in a weightless way when she crossed the room. Since that day we have talked a lot about what is it to be a dancer in a city like Montreal. There are such a great talents all around Quebec, people who come here looking for a way to develop their style and share their talent. We should be aware of how lucky we are of being in a city where culture lives everywhere all year round. In my first experience working with a dancer I realized how artists like Maude work everyday to find their style and personal expression. How the artists in general compromise their time and effort pursuing their ideas not just because they like art but because art lives inside them engraved in their souls as in stone.

I'm thankful Maude gave me the opportunity to share our knowledge and creativity to make this project possible. I definitely want to continue exploring dancing in future photographic projects.
