After my last drawing I decided to test another kind of paper. I really liked the blending on this one.
In my last drawing I used copic paper and I just felt the blending could be better. This time I tried a Derwent sketchbook, you know, just to check if the problem was really the paper! I found the results much better.

I started with a quick drawing on pencil. This is my last one since I moved...
at this point I don't really care about details, just the proportions and general shape.

Then I outlined it with a copic 0.3 multiliner. It's a light cool grey and the ink blends with the markers, so it doesn't appear too strong in the final result!

After leaving the multiliner to dry for a few minutes, I started the skin. Here is were you'll want to work fast, so the colors will blend well!
I really liked this results!

Skin colors: E00 + E50 + YR000 + E93 + B60 + E02 + V91
Hair colors: E33 + E59 + YG91 + E21 + V91
