Twelfth Night is a Shakespearean comedy. After a shipwreck, Viola finds herself in Illyria, posing as man for her own safety. Her presumed dead twin brother shows up some time later - confusion ensues.

The Shakespeare Project is a personal endeavor in which I illustrate the plays, and have fun with meanings and interpretations. For this particular series, I took inspiration from Albanian folk dress and the baroque fascination with androgyny and social transgressions.
