App for the APDA -
American Parkinson's Disease Association
Strength in optimism. Hope in progress.

My goal with this project was to create an easy-to-use app for people with Parkinson’s Disease that will track symptoms and habits and help to create a plan for disease management.
There is an opportunity to create a simple app with large buttons to accommodate for tremors. It provides an easy way to keep track of the patient’s diet and exercise habits and relate it to how it affects their symptoms. It also tracks medications, keeps a calendar of reminders and provides direct access to a Movement Specialist Doctor. I could not find any other app that offered these services.
I want this app to be able to track and graph the potential correlation between diet and exercise with how symptoms exhibit. Because chronic illnesses vary as much as people do, it can be difficult to work out the best plan of action for managing symptoms.
The app also provides access to their Movement Specialist doctor to ask questions, as well as allows the doctor to access the information at the patient’s approval. This is an all-in-one location and helps to track what aspects are working best, helping create a personalized long term plan.
Managing PD is a full time job. It can be overwhelming and difficult to keep track of daily medication, exercises, diets and appointments.

These are style ideas I went through before deciding on the final design.
