Beachzeit Berlin offers a wide variety of courses and events related to beach volleyball. 
They are well-known in Berlin / Brandenburg and have established a loyal base of fans and enthusiastic customers. However, their current logo and branding falls short of this. 

The goal was to create something fresh and unique that communicates values of outside-living, flowing movement and sports, staying approachable for all, 

true to the spirit of Beachzeit Berlin.

Blue (#26abe0) and Orange (#ff735a) are the main colors I decided on.
They represent the sky, the beach and the sun.

The wordmark has been created using the "moon" typeface, with bold and regular both being used to create some hierarchy. The main Logo is a combination mark which can have its elements seperated from each other to allow for flexible layout options.

The Icon is comprised of simple shapes and has a feeling of geometric balance to it.

A blue wave contrasts against an orange sun, together forming a volleyball in motion.

The signature swoop of the wave gives this icon something to stand out against other similar ball-icons prevalent in the sports-industry.

The client wanted some additional files besides the new logos. 
I created a 2-sided Flyer to be distributed at local events, as well as a poster design to market the rebrand and the upcoming events for late 2020 and early 2021. I also made a small business card to incentivise people to take pictures while at events and tag the instagram page of Beachzeit Berlin.

This has been a fun and fulfilling experience and I really enjoyed working with the client.
The end-result has both of us feeling very content and confident. If you like the logo, I'd appreciate it if you could appreciate my project.
