Saabou c'est d'abord une histoire d'amour. Et comme devrait être toute relation idéale, la marque se doit d'être transparente et digne de confiance. La boutique est un petit havre de paix, un cocon sain et chaleureux dans lequel chacun-e peut y trouver son bonheur. C'est parce qu'elle vend des cosmétiques qu'elle a décidé de partager cet amour avec son public.
Maya, la patronne du magasin, est à l'image des cosmétiques ce qu'une Reine Ashantis est au Ghana.

Une architecture authentique
La grille de conception du logo se base sur le type d'habitation modulable des Ashantis au Ghana. Des vestiges encore utilisé aujourd'hui. Leur fenêtres et leur patterns architecturaux très symétriques ont dessiné les formes de l'identité visuelle de SAABOU. Les couleurs appuie non seulement la modernité de cette tribu pour son époque mais également son origine géographique: l'Afrique.

The design grid of the logo is based on the modular dwelling of the Ashantis in Ghana. Remnants still in use today. Their windows and highly symmetrical architectural patterns have shaped the visual identity of SAABOU. The colours support not only the modernity of this tribe for its time but also its geographical origin: Africa.

From left to right:
- First we cream, then we caress
- For me you will never count as butter
ref. shea butter. In french, "counting for butter" means "worthless" or "counting for nothing". In this case, that means "You will ever be worth to me".
- I'll give you balm to your body
In french, "baume au coeur" means litteraly "balm to your heart". It's close to the expression "warming the heart of someone". We decided to switch "baume au coeur" into "baume au corps" which is almost the same pronunciation and means then "balm to your body" - "warming the body of someone".
- I love when you are tact-oil with me
In french, tactile (tactile in english) and huile (oil in english) are very closed in pronunciation. We mixed theses 2 words which became "tacthuile" which means litteraly "tactoil" in english.
