The topic of the "Hinterland" magazine was detention pending deportation. For this purpose, graphics were sought that deal with this topic. Julia Matzen and I solved this with linocut. The linocut has a striking and intense effect on the viewer. The black and white motifs show everyday life in detention. This reflects the deep issues refugees have to deal with on a day to day basis.
